Their faces tell it all
Spain won Euro 2008 which is arguably just as exciting as the NFL playoffs or MLB playoffs in the U.S. The fans however dont even compare. That’s coming from a seasoned sports fan. I have seen NCAA championships, NBA finals and the World Series in person (a Superbowl can’t be that far off right?!) and the fans in both Germany, Spain and around Europe are on a different level than American sports nuts. So what is it about soccer… ummm I meant futbol?
